Nina dobrev beauty products
Nina Dobrev has been gracing our television screens for two decades, and we still get excited when we catch wind of a new project starring the Canadian actor. With the release of her new romantic comedy, Love Hard, Dobrev has been booked and busy, but she took a break amid the hustle to share the simple everyday makeup routine she swears by in her new video for Allure.
As any beauty enthusiast will tell you, the best makeup looks start with a healthy base. Dobrev likes to begin by hydrating her skin with a couple of drops of Dr. Barbara Strum's Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Next, she doubles up with Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum, which is infused with a cocktail of nourishing omega fatty acids and antioxidants. The last serum she applies is Sunday Riley's C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum, which gently exfoliates to reveal, smoother, brighter skin.
After the face is sufficiently dewy and supple, Dobrev moves on to the lips. "I have this amazing Laneige [mask]," she says. "This is a sleeping mask, but honestly I wear it all day, every day. Especially on planes because it's so drying when you're on a flight, and this is so yummy and it smells so good."
To wrap up her skin care, which is honestly so simple and easy you can't help but admire, Dobrev layers on sunscreen. Her favorite? Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40. "It's important to wear sunscreen to protect yourself from potentially getting skin cancer. It's sort of like a primer as well for your makeup so your makeup stays on better." And she's correct, everyone should wear the dermatologist-recommended SPF 30 or higher every day.
Then it's time for the makeup. Dobrev is all about that fresh-faced glow, which is why she likes to grab the Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer to help with dark under eyes and the Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation SPF 35. The actress applies the foundation to her hand first, then ge We independently selected these deals and products because we love them, and we think you might like them at these prices. Could you do your whole skincare and makeup routine in just 10 minutes? That's super impressive, isn't it? Nina Dobrev did just that in her recent beauty breakdown she shared with Allure. While Nina definitely has some glam squad-level skills, she gives credit where it's due, remarking, "I've learned a lot of these makeup tips with the really talented artists I've got to work with over the years, whether it's on set or at a photoshoot. I learned how to do a lot of this on my own at home." Most of us don't have that access to beauty industry experts, but there's no need to worry because Nina broke down her list of go-to skincare and makeup products along with her trustworthy application tips. "The first thing I do is skincare because it's so important and I love a good serum. I have my Dr. Sturm Hyalauronic Acid Serum. Hyalauronic acid brings the moisture and plumpness back into your skin. I put that on first to give my face a clean, moisturized palette." This serum has 5.1K+ "loves" from Sephora shoppers, with one customer raving, "I saw a difference immediately within the luminosity of my skin after the first use. After only using for twice a day for four days - the texture in my skin has improved as well as my acne. This serum is magic. Perfect for dry to even acne prone skin types (because it hydrates without the oil & calms down inflammation)." Another said, "Great product! Hydrating, absorbs quickly, no sticky residue... I have very sensitive skin, and this product does not cause A significant shift in Dobrev’s skincare routine involves her increased focus on sun protection. In her younger years, Dobrev was less vigilant about applying sunscreen, partly because her olive complexion seemed to offer natural protection against sunburn. "I had this misconception that I didn’t need sunscreen because my skin didn’t burn easily," she explained. "But over time, I realized that sun damage is more than just sunburn—it's about protecting your skin from premature ageing and other issues." "Watching my friends get sunburned quickly made me understand that sunscreen is crucial," Dobrev noted. This realisation led her to incorporate SPF into her daily routine, making it a non-negotiable part of her morning skincare regimen. "Now, I apply sunscreen immediately after my moisturizer and before my makeup," she said. "I also use a spray sunscreen throughout the day for extra protection." In addition to her skincare transformation, Dobrev has also experienced a shift in her fashion sense. Reflecting on her style evolution, she acknowledged that while she has always appreciated a blend of style and functionality, her approach has become more sophisticated over time. "I still care about looking good, but I’ve realized that comfort is just as important," Dobrev remarked. For Nina Dobrev, a versatile beauty routine is key. After all, the Bulgarian-Canadian actress is constantly on the go, whether she’s traveling for a new project or crisscrossing around Los Angeles. For those times when heading home ahead of an evening out isn’t possible, here, Dobrev walks us through her day-to-night skin-care and makeup regimens. After a swift cleanse, Dobrev layers on a slew of serums with calming and hydrating benefits. “I’m obsessed with mini containers,” she notes, whipping out a travel-size eye cream and dabbing it under her eyes. “I also make a cocktail of my creams,” she explains, mixing a few different moisturizers in the palm of her hand. “This is my secret sauce,” she says while sealing everything in with Dr. Barbara Sturm’s cult Glow Drops. Retrieving eye patches from the fridge, she then applies the C-shaped gel masks to combat a.m. puffiness. Onto makeup, she swipes on concealer, followed by a featherweight layer of foundation on her complexion and neck. “I cannot express how important it is to not just put foundation on your face,” she says. Next up, Dobrev applies dark eyeshadow along the lash lines and fills in her arches. “I’m really obsessed with doing a messy brow,” she says, brushing up her naturally full set. To erase the lingering signs of her dark circles, which Dobrev admits she’s insecure about, she adds another swath of concealer. “I was on a vampire show for a very, very long time, so we shot at night and [I] didn’t sleep very much,” she admits. “One thing that I learned recently is that dark circles appear because you’re dehydrated, so it’s important to drink a lot of water. “You have to lock ’em in,” continues Dobrev of her now-covered blemishes, which she finishes off with a dusting of translucent powder. Then “just to sort of highlight and contour,” she swipes on a fuchsia blush and shimmering bronzer. As for the perfect highlighter? It’s another concoction, of course—this time with a “potent” iridescent liquid
