Their union only last eight short months.

But Jodie Marsh has once-again lashed out at her estranged husband, James Placido, on social media, saying the thought of them being together now 'makes her sick'.

Taking to her Instagram page on Tuesday, the 37-year-old body builder let her 393,000 followers know her feelings towards James by re-captioning several snaps of herself and her husband from happier times.

Jodie - who announced her split from James in April - lashed out at her former Mr. Right, editing the captions on two posts featuring herself and James looking loved up and happy.

In one of the snaps a beaming Jodie can be seen in a plunging floral maxi dress, with her arm wrapped around her dapper husband - who is wearing a maroon smoking jacket.

But clearly feeling extremely uncomfortable with the picture now, the former glamour girl edited the words accompanying it to read: 'This now makes me feel sick - I bought him these trousers and jumper and got him these shoes. My parents bought him this dinner jacket.'

And clearly in need of a vent, Jodie changed the words below a picture of the couple and two of her dogs to read that he was 'clearly punching' above his weight.

And it seems James isn't the only one to have caught her ire, as the glamour model took to her Twitter account later on in the day to blast the cast of ITV's Love Island for their amorous antic

Jodie Louise Marsh (born 23 December 1978) is an English media personality, model and bodybuilder. She has appeared on numerous reality television shows, including Essex Wives (2002), Back to Reality (2004), Love on a Saturday Night (2004), Celebrity Big Brother (2006, 2012), and Big Brother's Bit on the Side (2011–2013). She also featured in her own reality show titled Totally Jodie Marsh (2007).

Marsh began glamour modelling in 2002 on Page 3 of The Sun, for which she appeared six times in total. Her autobiography, Keeping It Real, reached the top 10 on The Sunday Times Bestseller List. She is also known for her fitness regime and natural bodybuilding. Marsh currently operates an animal sanctuary in Great Dunmow, Essex.

Early life

Jodie Louise Marsh was born on 23 December 1978 in Brentwood, Essex to John Marsh and Kristina Marsh, who owned a scaffolding business. She has one brother.

Marsh was educated at the independent Brentwood School. She acquired 11A*-A grade GCSEs at school, followed by three A-Levels. She has spoken extensively about her experiences of being bullied at school, which began when she was 11. She had rhinoplasty aged 16 after experiencing bullying for her nose, which she broke in a hockey accident.

Television career

Marsh was working as a stripper at Stringfellows gentlemen’s club in London when she appeared in the documentary television series Essex Wives in 2002. This led to a number of modelling jobs. She has subsequently participated in many reality television shows, including Trust Me - I'm A Holiday Rep, Channel 4's The Games and E4's Fool Around... with Jodie Marsh on two occasions.

Jodie Marsh has branded her marriage to James Placido a ‘disaster’, and revealed that she’s returning to plans to use a sperm donor to become a mum.

Jodie, who was celibate for five years before her marriage, split from James in April, less than a year after they tied the knot.

Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning, Jodie admitted: “I’m not going to talk about the disaster that was my marriage other than to say that I’m very embarrassed.

“It wasn’t worth breaking the celibacy for.”

Explaining that she feels like she ‘found herself’ while she was celibate, having had ‘the world luck in the world’ when it came to love, Jodie continued: “Truthfully I started to respect myself so much after I became celibate – more so than I had ever had done in my life…

“Being celibate, it gives you a self respect and a self worth that only you can give you.”

The 37-year-old had been looking into sperm donation before meeting James and had even decided to travel to Denmark where donors are anonymous, but revealed: “[Then] I met James and thought I was in love as he convinced me that I didn’t need a sperm donor because we were perfect for each other. Obviously that’s not the case.”

Jodie is now planning to go to America to find a sperm donor.

Jodie Marsh’s ex has remarried two years after their split and a year after their acrimonious divorce.

James Placido has married recruitment agency founder Brooke in a ceremony said to have taken place in February.

He and Jodie split in April 2016, and Jame was said to have moved on with Brooke just four months later. Brooke allegedly received a huge diamond on her birthday last July.

It’s unlikely Jodie will be too bothered though, as their split was far from friendly, even leading to her arrest for alleged harassment.

Jodie and James had been together 20 months at the time of their split. In August 2015 they shocked fans by marrying on a beach in Barbados, although they split eight months later and their divorce was finalised in 2017.

At the time of their split, Jodie took to Instagram to tell her fans: ‘It is with sadness that I bring you the news that James and I have separated.

‘I will be keeping all the dogs with me. I won’t be taking calls on the matter as I’d like to be left alone. I thank you in advance for your sensitivity on this subject…’

She later wrote a scathing message about her ex, making it clear it had not been an amicable split.

The 39-year-pold wrote: ‘Oh & if any ladies are having the “pleasure”‘ of sex with James right now, don’t give him any money, don’t leave him alone in your house…..’

She continued: ‘….don’t leave him alone with children or animals, don’t trust his lies when he tells you everything you wanna hear & be savvy!!!!’

Jodie recently admitted that their relationship became so volatile, she was arrested in 2016 after sending him a text, which was dubbed harassment at the time. She’d allegedly texted her ex demanding money she claimed he owed her father.
