BIOGRAPHY
Born in , Philip Mantofa’s early life was filled with violence and blasphemy. He started his journey of faith when he was 18 and has been experiencing radical transformation ever since. After graduated from Columbia Bible College in Canada, he embarked his calling in his country, Indonesia, and ignited national revival filled with signs, wonders, and miracles.
His influence reaches far beyond his homeland as he travels the globe changing spiritual climates everywhere. Today, hundreds of his prophetic dreams and visions have deeply spoken to, impacted, and anointed the lives of many.
Mantofa unflinchingly shares his spiritual revelations ─ dreams and visions ─ with the purpose of leading and drawing us into the hope and power of redemption. His bold strokes, vibrant colors and richly layered textures create passionate visual expressions that draw us into deeper reflection of what lies ahead for this generation that faces unprecedented levels of horror and brokenness in the world.

There is problem that will force even the most powerful and influential person Pastor Jonathan Mays (Pastor Jon) surrendered his life to Jesus Christ in December of In the beginning of , the Lord called Pastor Jon to the people of Indonesia. He left his home country of the United States of America in September , for Jakarta, Indonesia, to advance the gospel and make disciples among Indonesian students. He spent a total of 16 years serving the Lord in Indonesia in Christian schools as an English teacher, Bible teacher, and Chaplain as well as in and through the local church in the areas of small group ministry, preaching, teaching and church leadership as an elder and pastor. He met his wife, Yellen Angjaya, in Jakarta, where they were married in They have been a solid team ever since! Pastor Jon graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration. He earned his Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Pastor Jon and Yellen caught the vision of GMS in May , while attending a revival service in New York City led by GMS’s Senior Pastor, Pastor Philip Mantofa, and hosted by GMS New York. They decided at that time to plant themselves in GMS and adopt the church’s vision of 1, strong local churches and 1,, disciples of Christ. By God’s grace Pastor Jon and Yellen have grown quickly with GMS. In July , the couple was commissioned by the mother church, GMS West Surabaya, and Pastor Philip, to lead GMS Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA, where Pastor Jon serves as the Local Pastor. My Spiritual Journey
My Background
I was born as a healthy and normal baby, but there was an accident that led me to grow up frail along with short term memory. I fell from my bed when I was only 2 months old. Since then, my body often shook and my legs were weak so that I needed leg braces and a pair of shoes made of iron that are usually used for people who get polio. The condition of my brain wasn’t strong either because I had difficulty memorizing simple things such as classes or even the spelling of my own name.
All of those conditions were changed when the power of the Holy Spirit anointed me on my way to my school in Taipei, Taiwan. God listened to my mother’s prayer in Indonesia and He miraculously healed me. I didn’t become a good person even though I was healed. In fact I was involved in many juvenile delinquent activities which included fierce fighting where I almost lost my life in many occasions and took the lives of others as well. It wasn’t until when God saved me in Vancouver, Canada.

If you ask me why I work so diligently in the Lord's harvest field, the answer couldn't be simpler: because my eyes are fixed on a vision from Heaven! Through a personal encounter with Jesus Christ in , I received the burden for GMS Church organization to build strong local churches with 1,, disciples of Christ! That's my life's mission.
