LaDainian Tarshane Tomlinson (born June 23, 1979), nicknamed "LT", is an American former professional footballrunning back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons. After a successful college football career with the TCU Horned Frogs, the San Diego Chargers selected him as the fifth overall pick in the 2001 NFL draft.     The Jets have agreed to terms with Aaron Glenn to become their head coach. Glenn, the 22nd head coach in franchise history, returns home to a Jets team he played for in his first eight NFL seasons and later worked for as a scout in the personnel department. Glenn, the former Detroit Lions defensive coordinator, officially agreed to terms on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025.

    Chairman Johnson led the search for a head coach and was aided by The 33rd Team in a support role to help identify and vet candidates in addition to coordinate interviews. Former NFL front office executives Mike Tannenbaum and Rick Spielman headed the project for the NFL technology and media company.

    After announcing 16 completed head coach interviews, Glenn met face-to-face with Jets brass Tuesday morning and a framework for a deal was agreed upon.

    Before starting his professional coaching trek, Glenn worked in the Jets' front office as a pro personnel scout in 2012 and college area scout in 2013.

    "I guess the humbling part, the part I'm most proud of, is being able to come back to the team that gave me a shot, my first opportunity to set foot on an NFL field and be part of an NFL roster, gave me a chance to show what I feel I could do in this league," Glenn said upon his return to the Jets in 2012. "I think that's important to me, to show that no matter where I went, I had a soft spot in my heart for the team that gave me my first opportunity."

    Ford originally joined the Cardinals in May, 2021 and worked as a scouting assistant for three seasons (2021-23). Prior to the Cardinals, he spent one year (2020) with the 33rd Team working as a scouting assistant for former NFL GM Mike Tannenbaum.

    He played football collegiately at the University of Massachusetts where he completed 560-of-895 passes for 6,995 yards and 57 TDs in 29 career games. As a junior in 2017, Ford started 10-of-11 games played and completed 223-of-353 passes (63.2%) for 2,924 yards and 22 TDs while adding two rushing TDs.

    Ford was selected to the Manning Award Watch List as a senior in 2018 and was named to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society. He finished his collegiate career second in school history in completion percentage (62.5), passer efficiency rating (143.7) and TD passes (57).

    He graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management and Economics in 2018.
