It was Ireland's mother, American actress Kim Basinger, who grabbed all the attention, because at 69 years of age, she looked amazing due to her latest retouching.

Further to all this, the actress is known to have undergone surgery to rejuvenate her appearance.

Apparently, according to images published by New York Post, the star of films such as 'L.A. Confidential' and 'Nine and a half weeks', appeared at the baby shower of her daughter Ireland Baldwin with a swollen face and very stretched skin.
This caused the rumors about her umpteenth cosmetic retouching to begin to emerge and spread.
Although the actress did not share any snapshots of the moment, the cameras present there left a record of it.
So we could see how Kim Basinger enjoys at 69 years of age a younger look, but a far cry from that actress who conquered Hollywood with films like 'The Sentinel'.
Besides the presence of the actress with a new face, the party stood out for having countless eccentricities.

Most recently, the account shared a carousel of photos revealing the 10 women and nine men in Hollywood who have altered their appearances the most over the years - and it left many people on the web stunned over their severe changes and drastic transformations.
'Facial plastic surgery helps to reduce imperfections and signs of aging,' CelebFace captioned the post.
'Natural ageing or plastic surgery is everyone's own business. But sometimes in the pursuit of youth and perfection, you can lose your own face.'

Even so, it's not 100 percent clear whether Basinger has actually gone without surgery all these years. In the past, reporters and even plastic surgeons have wondered publicly whether the actress' perfect complexion might have been helped by a bit of artificial intervention.

Last week former Bond Girl Kim Basinger was photographed arriving at the wild strip-club-themed baby shower at the Jumbo’s Clown Room in Hollywood, California.
Her skin looked smooth and wrinkle-free, likely leaving other 69-year-olds sick with envy.
Kim has never confirmed whether she has had any plastic surgery, and her daughter has claimed in the past that the actress has never had any treatments to turn back the clock.
