Urodziła się w Winston-Salem. Jej ojciec David Wagner, z zawodu marynarz, wychowywał ją prawie sam. Uczęszczała do Ledford Senior High School. W 2001 ukończyła zarządzanie na Uniwersytecie Stanu Karolina Północna.

Jako nastolatka ukończyła też Barbizon Modeling and Acting School, gdzie była nazywana Miss Barbizon.

Początkowo pracowała jako modelka pojawiając się w pismach dla mężczyzn jak „Stuff” czy „Maxim”, gdzie w 2004 uznano ją za jedną ze stu najpiękniejszych kobiet na świecie. W 2003 dołączyła do obsady programu telewizyjnego Punk’d. Stała się rozpoznawalna jest jako „Mercury Chick” z reklam samochodów Lincoln-Mercury. W 2015 poznała kanadyjskiego hokeistę Davida Lemanowicza, za którego wyszła za mąż 8 kwietnia 2017. Mają dwie córki: Liję (ur. 2010) i Armię Gray (ur. 17 kwietnia 2020).

    Jill Wagner is an American television actress, model, and game show personality. An appealing presence on American television, Jill Wagner was the enthusiastic co-host of the ABC game show "Wipeout" (2008- ) as well as a guest player in numerous episodic series and the occasional feature film. She relocated from her native North Carolina to California to pursue a modeling career in 2001, but instead broke into television as one of Ashton Kutcher's pranking cohorts on "Punk'd" (MTV 2003-07).

    Guest roles on television series, as well as a long-running ad campaign for Mercury automobiles led to her first assignment as a series regular on the action-fantasy program "Blade: The Series" (Spike 2006). Following its swift demise, Wagner joined "Wipeout," an Americanized version of grueling Japanese obstacle course game shows which became one of the network's most popular programs. She departed "Wipeout" in 2011 to take a recurring role on MTV's "Teen Wolf" (2011- ), but returned to her duties on the program in 2013 while also dividing her time between acting assignments.     Jill Suzanne Wagner (born January 13, 1979) is an American actress and television personality. She was the on-field host for the ABC game show Wipeout from 2008 to 2011 and again from 2013 to 2014, briefly leaving during the fifth season in 2012. Since then, Wagner has starred in several made-for-television films for the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Great American Family. She stars as Bobby in the Paramount+ spy series Special Ops: Lioness (2023).

    Wagner was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was raised primarily by her father, David Wagner, a U.S. Marine, and her grandmother. During her teens, she trained at Barbizon Modeling and Acting School in Raleigh.

    After college, Wagner moved to California to pursue a career in entertainment. In 2003, she was selected as a cast member on the MTV series Punk'd, participating in several sketches. The following year, Wagner was ranked number 90 on the Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2004. She was featured in the July 2006 issue of American FHM magazine.
